In This Blog, We Will Explore MAAC CRU Agomoni 2026
As Kolkata welcomes the festive season with the sweet fragrance of shiuli flowers and the energetic beats of the dhak, MAAC CRU (Chowringhee, Rashbehari, and Ultadanga) comes alive with one of the most cherished celebrations of the year, Agomoni 2026.
At MAAC CRU, Agomoni is more than just a celebration; it is a beautiful blend of art, culture, devotion, and creativity. This year, our centres embrace the festive spirit with handmade Durga idols, theme-based art installations across the centres, and a vibrant Student Art Exhibition showcasing the imagination and artistic skills of our talented students.
From crafting beautiful artworks to transforming the centres with creative decorations inspired by the spirit of Durga Puja, our students, mentors, and teams come together to make Agomoni 2026 a memorable celebration. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience how creativity meets tradition, bringing together artistic expression, cultural heritage, and the festive joy of Durga Puja at MAAC CRU.
This Year, MAAC CRU Brought Creativity And Tradition Together At Agomoni 2026:

MAAC Chowringhee
MAAC Chowringhee showcased “Fele Asha Amra,” a concept celebrating the forgotten memories, fading traditions, and timeless emotions that shape who we are. The theme beautifully reflected the journey of rediscovering the pieces of ourselves left behind with time, reminding us that every forgotten moment holds a story, an emotion, and a part of our identity.
MAAC Rashbehari
MAAC Rashbehari explored the theme of “Char Dham,” inspired by the spiritual significance of India’s four sacred pilgrimage sites. Through creative artwork and thoughtful theme-based installations, the students brought the essence of these holy destinations to life, reflecting their cultural heritage, architectural beauty, and deep religious importance. The concept beautifully blended spirituality with artistic imagination, showcasing how creativity can be used to celebrate India’s rich traditions and connect people with its cultural roots.

MAAC Ultadanga
MAAC Ultadanga presented the theme of “Jute Shilpa,” highlighting the beauty of traditional jute craftsmanship and its connection to Mother Nature. Through creative artwork and theme-based installations, the students showcased the importance of jute as a natural, eco-friendly material while celebrating the bond between nature, culture, and human life. The theme beautifully reflected the value of sustainable art, the richness of traditional craftsmanship, and the role of creativity in transforming natural materials into meaningful artistic expressions.

Why MAAC CRU Agomoni 2026 Is Special
Agomoni celebrates the arrival of Maa Durga at her parental home in Bengal, accompanied by her children — Lakshmi, Saraswati, Kartik, and Ganesh. It marks the beginning of the much-awaited Durga Puja festivities and brings a sense of joy, devotion, and togetherness.
At MAAC CRU, Agomoni is celebrated as a special occasion where culture and creativity come together. Students express the festive spirit through handmade artwork, theme-based installations, creative designs, and artistic displays. Each centre brings its own unique ideas to life, transforming its surroundings into an inspiring celebration of Bengali tradition and student talent, with a creative touch that blends traditional art and modern design.
A Creative Makeover of MAAC CRU Agomoni 2025
When Agomoni arrives, the entire MAAC CRU family transforms into a vibrant visual space. The campuses fill up with colours, artwork, and installations that show off the students’ imagination and hard work.
Here’s What Makes Agomoni So Magical:
Artistic Installations
Students design and build stunning 2D and 3D installations. Some use traditional themes inspired by Durga Puja, while others experiment with modern or fantasy ideas. These installations often become the main attraction of the event.
Digital Art Displays
Student of graphic design, animation, VFX and gaming showcase digital illustrations, posters, concept art, 3d modeling, and motion graphics. Each piece reflects their growing understanding of design, composition, colour, and storytelling.
Theme-Based Decorations
Every year, Agomoni follows a common creative theme chosen by the students. They design props, lighting, wall decor, cut-outs, and murals that express that theme in a beautiful and artistic way. Walking through MAAC CRU during Agomoni feels like stepping inside a creative world.
Performances & Cultural Activities
Agomoni is not just visual — it is also full of performances. Students prepare dance, music, drama, and fun activities that bring everyone together. These cultural moments add life and energy to the celebration.
Agomoni Always Holds a Special Place in MAAC CRU’s Heart.
Agomoni is more than decoration, performances, or competitions. It is a reminder of what MAAC CRU stands for — creativity, teamwork, passion, and learning.
For many students, Agomoni becomes:
- Their first big creative project
- Their first time working in a team
- Their first experience of building something from scratch
- Their first moment of seeing their work appreciated by others
These experiences stay with them forever.
Agomoni also encourages students to explore their culture and express it in new, modern, and artistic ways. It shows them how tradition and technology can blend beautifully when creativity leads the way.
