MAAC Kolkata – MAAC Chowringhee, MAAC Rashbehari and MAAC Ultadanga (erstwhile MAAC Kakurgachi) are known for 100% job oriented Practical Training institute on 3D and 2D Animation, VFX & Multimedia in Kolkata. Apart from the famous 24FPS International Animation Awards, MAAC hosts several other events. Here, students get an opportunity to showcase their skills & to interact with experienced animation, VFX, gaming, and media & entertainment professionals.
It’s time to enjoy and unleash your creativity with us. Apart from regular training we also give our students platform like 24 FPS student animation and VFX film competition, AGOMONI Student Art Exhibition, National Student Meet popularly known as NSM and MAAC Click.
EVENTS
Annual Picnic
Every year, MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari, Ultadanga along with the students organize a miniature version of Durga Puja inside the centre. Throughout the year, Agomoni is one of the most awaited events for the students to forget everything and have fun. This year to make things a little more fun, a competition was organised where the students were asked to make greeting cards for the event which were shared on different platforms. The theme was Durga Puja to usher in the Goddess and to set the ball rolling for the festivities.
Holi Mask Making
For the students at MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga the whole year is nothing short of a challenge with back to back classes and competitions and challenges, so that's why December is one of those times for which every MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga student waits eargerly. It is not because its the end of the year but actually because December is the time for Christmas which also means its time for the year end party at MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari & Ultadanga. An evening of fun and frolic, it just lets our students forget all their tensions from the past year and have pure fun. There was also a competition where the students were asked to make teams and create a Christmas scene to depict the essence of Christmas.
