Originally it was named as Cool Edit and developed by Syntrillium Software<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the year 2003 Adobe purchased Cool Edit Pro from Syntrillium and changed the name to Adobe Audition.<\/p>\n

Adobe Audition is basically the multi-track audio editing software<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the end of year 2018 Adobe released the latest version of Adobe Audition with updates.<\/p>\n

The latest version of Adobe Audition has the ability to open a Premiere Pro CC<\/a> project directly and it enables to jump to a specific time in timeline.<\/p>\n

To apply DeReverb effect at first select the track to which you want to apply this effect.<\/p>\n

Then go to the Effects Rack Panel, click the white right pointing arrow beside the effect channel and select Noise Reduction\/ Restoration>DeReverb.<\/p>\n

To make the interface display; double-click the De-Reverb Effect in the Effect Rack; you will notice a graphical display workspace where you can adjust the De-Reverb graph<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The artist will have to choose the Noise Reduction<\/a>\/Restoration> DeReverb by clicking the white arrow on the right side of the Effects Rack.<\/p>\n

Noise-Reduction has become much easier with this new feature of Adobe Audition.<\/p>\n

De-Noise Effect helps to reduce the noise from the audio clip.<\/p>\n

With the help of knobs and buttons one can control the noise effect.<\/p>\n

Adobe Audition also lets the editor to listen the removed noise in isolation.<\/p>\n

Adobe Audition has a long reputation for the quality of its Noise-Reduction software<\/a>.<\/p>\n

De-Noise Effect does an excellent job in removing hum and air conditioner noise.<\/p>\n

It is an excellent in reducing the background noise without affecting the speaker\u2019s voice at all.<\/p>\n

This tool helps to clean up bad audio but it won\u2019t make the audio perfect; hence the best way to get clean audio is to record it in a perfect environment with taking all the precautions.<\/p>\n

The new Adobe Audition has enhanced performance while recording or playing tracks in the Multi-track<\/a> environment.<\/p>\n

Adobe Audition can playback over 128 audio tracks and record over 32 tracks on most standard hardware configurations.<\/p>\n

Multi-Track User Interface Improved<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The selected clips have white borders and track headers are updated with cleaner interfaces.<\/p>\n

In adobe audition recorded voices are displayed in waveform pattern in the timeline.<\/p>\n

To work on the audio clips first the portion of the audio should be selected.<\/p>\n

Selected Clips are bolder with inverted waveform<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the Adobe Audition Clip waveforms are brighter with improved contrast and color palette.<\/p>\n

Updated Color picker includes standard palette as well as plenty of swatches for custom-color choices.<\/p>\n

Gain Icon And Waveform Scaling<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The bottom left corner of each clip has small gain icon.<\/p>\n

This gain icon can set the volume for the entire clip.<\/p>\n

When the artist will drag the gain icon, the waveforms will automatically resize and one can quickly see the result of their work.<\/p>\n

Earlier it could be done using properties panel but the new gain icon has made the work faster.<\/p>\n

Clip gain now goes up to +96 decibel<\/a> rather than the earlier limit of +15 decibel.<\/p>\n

This option is helpful for those who record a lot of interviews in a variety of settings.<\/p>\n

Clip gain can be applied only on the audio tracks.<\/p>\n

Clip gain helps to lower or increase the volume of the clips.<\/p>\n

This feature helps in the scaling of the waveform.<\/p>\n

Easy To Add Or Delete Tracks<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"Adobe<\/p>\n

Adobe Audition audio editor has new menu item Multi-track>Tracks>Add Tracks.<\/p>\n

Add Tracks allows the artist to add quickly multiple audio tracks, multiple bus tracks and one video track.<\/p>\n

In the above picture we can see Mono\/Stereo and 5.1 under audio tracks.<\/p>\n

An audio editor can set the format for each of these tracks or Adobe Audition can set them automatically as the clips are added.<\/p>\n

Bus track makes the work in multi-track session more efficient.<\/p>\n

Bus track let the artist to combine the outputs of several audio tracks.<\/p>\n

Zoom To Fit Timeline<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

This new option will help to zoom the multi-track timeline.<\/p>\n

To zoom out [-] minus key and to zoom in plus key [+] while \/ key is for to zoom the entire window to fit.<\/p>\n

The Timer icon at the extreme right corner is to expand or shrink the Timeline.<\/p>\n

Along with all the above features one more update is we can open a Premiere project in Audition directly by clicking File>Open.<\/p>\n

This option enables to open all audio clips and places them into a multi-track edit for editing.<\/p>\n
