href=\"http:\/\/www.animationkolkata.com\/multimedia-graphics-3d-animation-visual-effects-gaming-vfx.php\">Rashbehari<\/a> and MAAC <a href=\"http:\/\/www.animationkolkata.com\/multimedia-graphics-3d-animation-visual-effects-gaming-vfx.php\">Ultadanga<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of students are taught at different MAAC Centres every day Kushal Dey was searching for a course where he could learn about the <a href=\"https:\/\/animationkolkata.com\/blog\/2017\/11\/17\/latest-techniques-trends-used-vfx\/\">techniques of visual effects<\/a> used in movies.<\/p>\n<p>And from here Kushal\u2019s journey with MAAC started.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kushal Dey did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animationkolkata.com\/advfx-plus.php\">ADVFX Course<\/a> at MAAC.<\/p>\n<p>Now you may be curious to know about ADVFX Course.<\/p>\n<p>Well ADVFX stands for Advanced Program in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animationkolkata.com\/blog\/2018\/05\/14\/discover-career-visual-effects\/\">Visual Effects<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Visual Effects are integral parts of feature films, television programmes and all sorts of entertainment programmes.<\/p>\n<p>ADVFX Course offers many career options for the aspiring students.<\/p>\n<p>This Career Course has the potential to build a skilled VFX artist.<\/p>\n<p>The Course deals with Cinematography, Digital Design, <a href=\"https:\/\/animationkolkata.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/31\/stop-motion-animation\/\">Stop Motion<\/a>, <a techniques<\/a> and so it proved to be great help for Kushal Dey.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal joined MAAC classes and learned about VFX but a turning point came when he participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animationkolkata.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/11\/24-fps-vfx-challenge-2018\/\">24 FPS International Animation Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>24 Frame per Second (FPS) is an event conducted by MAAC in collaboration of <a href=\"https:\/\/unic.un.org\">United Nations Information Centre<\/a> (UNIC) every year.<\/p>\n<p>It is a wonderful event where students from Animation or VFX fields showcase their talents.<\/p>\n<p>Students prepare Short films, Show-reels or Multimedia artwork to present at the event.<\/p>\n<p>As Kushal said \u201c24 FPS is a platform for student to experience the Industry pipeline, methods and culture while they are being a student.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This event is open for students, professionals and studios across the world.<\/p>\n<p>Films made up of <a href=\"https:\/\/animationkolkata.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/04\/we-are-the-best-3d-animation-vfx-institute-in-kolkata\/\">3D Animation<\/a> or Live-action or amazing Visual Effects wins the heart of the audiences.<\/p>\n<p>24 FPS event was an eye opener for Kushal Dey, he came to know about current work methods and technologies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maacindia.com\/events\/24-fps.aspx\">24 FPS International Animation Awards<\/a> inspire students to make film where they can work professionals and can do all sort of research.<\/p>\n<p>Here a group of industry experts and jury members evaluate the work of students and select the best one.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal Dey did his best at the 24 FPS event and came out with flying colours.<\/p>\n<p>At MAAC; Faculty members provide the students production-house like environment where they can prepare their projects.<\/p>\n<p>Every student as well as faculty involve themselves in-depth research before preparing projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An Incident That Changed Kushal\u2019s Life<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7323\" 285w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 423px) 100vw, 423px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A life changing incident happened when Kushal\u2019s faculty members inspired him to appear for T3 (Train The Teacher) interview.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal recalls that incident as \u201cMy life turned upside down when my faculty approached me for T3 or (Train the Teacher)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>T3 or (Train the Teacher) is a MAAC program where faculty selects student from the batch and provide them training and groom them to become future MAAC trainer or faculty.<\/p>\n<p>He further recalls \u201cI was shattered as hell because of my nature of being introvert\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal was very shy person at that stage of his life, he felt nervous before appearing for interview.<\/p>\n<p>But his Mentors were a great support for him.<\/p>\n<p>They encouraged him and prepared him for the life changing interview.<\/p>\n<p>As from Kushal \u201cI faced one of the craziest interviews of my life with mixed content of confidence, nervousness, stupidity and a pinch of fear which actually changed my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kushal successfully passed the interview and he got selected for the VFX Technical Instructor Position.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal Dey is currently working as a VFX Technical Instructor at MAAC.<\/p>\n<p>He has lot of responsibilities on his shoulder now.<\/p>\n<p>First he was a MAAC\u2019s student now he himself is a faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal is posted in his own reputed Institute and he is feeling proud about it.<\/p>\n<p>But the stage of learning has not stopped here for Kushal Dey, he is still learning something new on every day.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed his gratitude towards his Institute by words \u201cMAAC Kolkata has not only taught me the industry of movies but also some crucial life lessons which I can never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is clear from his words that MAAC\u2019s faculty members prepare the students out of the syllabus.<\/p>\n<p>Our highly professional mentors teach every student how to handle obstacles in life.<\/p>\n<p>Getting a job is not enough one should learn communication skills, positive attitude, team work and many other characteristics to become
