Q-2:
What softwares are taught in AD3D Edge?
. MAAC's research team keeps track of all developments in international markets on upgradations/innovations of softwares used in Animation & VFX and integrates the same in MAAC curriculum whenever such innovations occur. Hence you will always get to learn all softwares in vogue.
Q-3:
Your motto says "Real Skills for the Real World" and you claim that you create "creatively oriented" talent. Please explain.
. MAAC is a creative organization. MAAC thought-process and curriculum development is driven by its studio background and supported by the "Academic Advisory Board" comprising of dignitaries from studios like "Dreamworks", "Pixion" and creative stalwarts like Kireet Khurana and Sanjiv Waeerkar. Thus it is unmatched in terms of being up-to-date and industry focused, Our AD3D Edge curriculum, as you notice, starts with a 6 months rigorous training in "Film Making" through which we first orient our students towards creativity before we teach them the software. Modules like cinematography, concepts of film making, performance art, stop motion, etc. makes them understand the film making process and makes them think creatively. Project work is given in photography, film making, scripting, etc. so that students start thinking like "creative" minds so that when they learn software they can use the software creatively. This orientation and the basic concepts they learn form the platform for them to teach the technical skills; without it they will not be useful to any organization.
Q-4:
What extra investment we need to make for our wards apart from the fee we pay?
NoneWe provide all requisite infrastructures like computer, cameras, projection equipment, facility of lab, auditorium, etc. at our centers. However, creative expertise builds by more and more practice and hence, if the student have access to computer beyond their time at our centers, it would definitely give them a better platform. In any field, the student who goes the extra mile beyond the confines of a classroom to seek extended knowledge and extended practice is bound to shine.

Q-7:
How is AD3D Edge different than programs offered by other institutes?
Ans. It's been a constant demand from the recruiters that the students emerging out of the institutes needs to be creatively oriented with the knowledge of film making. Most of the programs offered by various institutes create generalists and not specialists, with narrow focus on software operation only. AD3D Edge focuses very highly on the physical mediums like digital film making and stop motion animation, camera angles, lights etc. There is a lot of emphasis given on increasing the creative element within the students and also upsurges the aesthetic taste of the students. AD3D Edge has a dynamic curriculum that embraces creativity, encourages ambition and cultivates talent and real world skill.

Q-10:
How is MAAC different from other animation institutes?
Ans. First and foremost you need to verify the credentials of the promoters of any educational institutions. If you apply this test, you will find only MAAC promoted and supported by highly known and accomplished business groups for whom education is a passion rather than a business. Secondly, you need to test the creative background of the institution, as animation is above all a creative field. Again you will only find MAAC qualifying. Moreover, MAAC is the only institution which has its academic division led by a stalwart in animation industry. Its CCO Mr. Sanjiv Waeerkar has been the Creative Director in animation for more than 15 years and has been associated with production like Meena in the City, Tree Monsters, Dr. Disaster, 3D Home DVD series with popular titles like Robinhood, King Kong, Christmas Carol, Three Musketeers, a fully developed award winning show from pre-production to final delivery for the Middle East called "Freej", for Lamtara Productions, a TV show for NBC/Entertainment Rights, Mike Young Productions DVD feature 'Bratz Super Babyz' & 'The Ring of Fire' a 2D TV series for Disney to name a few. The testimonies of past students can also define the appeal of the Institute for its students as well as recruiters. MAAC has been voted the best by various segments of students, studios, other recruiters, etc. Our placement records of the past speak for themselves. It is no accident that we have been leaders in this field since 2001.

Ans. Industries using animation as a form of visual communication are driven by creative skills. Creatively oriented animators are far superior and more productive in their output. A candidate in this industry is primarily judged by the quality of his output - his SHOWREEL / PORTFOLIO, irrespective of which stream of degree one holds. Having said so, there are certain jobs, such as in the fields of engineering, chemistry and physics, just to name a few, where, "Bachelor of Science Degree is required".
Q-32:
How is MAAC's Bachelor Arts in Animation more beneficial than B. Sc in Animation?
Ans. One could be of any stream, with 10+2 / equivalent completion certificate, to apply for the MAAC's degree programme.
